1. Introduction
Welcome to OakPaperPress ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our yacht charter services and website located at oakpaperpress.site (the "Service") operated by OakPaperPress.
By booking a charter or accessing our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.
2. Service Overview
OakPaperPress offers a range of high-end yacht charter services, which include:
- Daily yacht rentals
- Sunset cruises
- Corporate retreats
- Private events
- Multi-day charters
Our services are contingent upon availability and weather conditions, and we retain the authority to adjust or halt our offerings at any moment.
3. Reserving and Booking
3.1 Reservation Procedure
To reserve a yacht, requirements include:
- A minimum age of 18 years
- Furnishing current and complete details
- Submitting the stipulated deposit as outlined in the booking confirmation
- Consenting to these Terms & Conditions
3.2 Booking Confirmation
A charter reservation is considered confirmed only after we receive the payment and provide written confirmation. We maintain the right to deny service to any individual as per our discretion.
3.3 Charter Availability
All yacht charters depend upon the availability of the vessels and favorable weather. We will aim to align our services with your preferred schedule as best as possible.
4. Financial Terms
4.1 Charges
Pricing is expressed in € and incorporates all relevant taxes unless indicated otherwise. Note that prices are subject to alterations without prior notice.
4.2 Payment Plan
- Initial Deposit: 50% of the complete charter fee payable upon reservation
- Remaining Balance: Due 48 hours before the departure of the charter
- Incidental expenses (if any): Payable after the concluding of the charter
4.3 Methods of Payment
We accept major credit cards, electronic bank transfers, and verified checks. Our payment procedures are safeguarded through encrypted channels.
5. Policy on Cancellations and Reimbursements
5.1 Customer Initiated Cancellations
- Ahead of 72 hours before departure: Complete refund minus transaction fees
- Within 24 to 72 hours prior to departure: 50% of the payment refunded
- Under 24 hours before departure: No payment refunded
5.2 Cancellations Due to Weather
In case our captain deems the weather conditions unsafe, we provide the following options:
- Reschedule to a new date at no additional charge
- Issue a full return if rescheduling is not feasible
5.3 Mechanical Failures
If there is a mechanical problem with the designated yacht, we will attempt to supply an appropriate replacement. Should no replacement be available, a full reimbursement will be issued.
6. Conduct and Safeguarding
6.1 Safeguarding Standards
Guests must adhere to the following:
- Obey all directives from onboard staff
- Utilize the safety gear when deemed necessary
- Declare any health conditions that may influence their safety
- Stay within the assigned areas within the yacht
6.2 Forbidden Commodities
The items listed below are not allowed on the yacht:
- Bottles made of glass
- Unlawful substances
- Guns or any weapons
- Excessive alcohol beyond moderate consumption limits
- Pets, except if pre-approved
6.3 Passenger Behavior
Patrons are expected to behave in a courteous and respectful manner. We carry the right to cut short a charter without any refunds if a passenger's conduct endangers safety or disrupts the experience for others.
7. Responsibility and Insurance
7.1 Liability on Our Part
Our responsibility is restricted to the sum paid for the charter service. We are not accountable for:
- Personal harm due to passenger neglect
- The loss or damaging of private belongings
- Consequential, indirect or punitive costs
- Delays due to adverse weather or events beyond our control
7.2 Coverage of Insurance
We uphold comprehensive marine insurance for our fleet and operations. Passengers are encouraged to have their own insurance for travel and personal belongings.
7.3 Acceptance of Risk
By electing to partake in our charter services, you agree to the inherent perils associated with marine activities and take responsibility for your own safety and care.
